2023 West of England Regional Championships
After a three year absence due to Covid, we returned to Torquay for the West of England regionals, and were delighted to be awarded 6th place for our performance of Rodney Newton's "The Pilgrim's Progress". This is our highest placing in the banding pyramid since 1996! Thank you Ian and the band for all your hard work on what was a very challenging piece.
At this contest we welcomed new cornet player Dee McIlrath and celebrated Isabelle Wilson's birthday. Sadly, trombonist Tim Clarke and bass player Steve Belli left the band after this contest.
