 | Good result in Torquay10 March 2018 4th place for NFB in the Third Section of the West of England Regional Championships - a good result! We enjoyed working on the test piece, Napoleon on the Alps by Philip Harper. We had a long wait to play as we were drawn to play as the last band on the day. We were pleased with the result, although we just missed out on going to the finals and being promoted. The contest was followed by the obligatory curry. |
 | Success for training band28 January 2018 Well done NFB training band who came second in the Wessex training band contest in Downton yesterday. A great performance of a challenging set. Well done to Hannah Gordon for a great solo in 'You Raise Me Up' and to the bass and cornet sections for winning instrumental prizes and to everyone for their hard work. |
