 | Abbey Road 50th anniversary concert raises over £700 for charity19 October 2019 New Forest Brass main and training bands put on a fantastic concert at New Forest Academy in support of Motor Neurone Disease Association, a cause dear to our hearts. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the release of the Abbey Road album, the main band paid tribute to the Beatles, performing many tunes from the album including Something, Maxwell's Silver Hammer and Here Comes the Sun. The second half of the concert began with a performance from NFB Training Band, followed by the main band's finale performing all of the classics from the Last Night of the Proms. The concert was a great success, raising over £700 for MNDA. Well done all involved! |
 | NFB Promoted to Second Section for 20209 March 2019 A good result at the West of England Championships in Torquay, where our performance of Holst's First Suite in Eb was awarded 5th place in the Third Section, which was enough to see us promoted to the Second Section for next year. Well done everyone! |
