2022 West of England Regional Championships
After not being held in 2021, the West of England Regionals returned, but this time in Cheltenham Racecourse as the usual venue in Torquay was unavailable due to being used as a vaccine centre. Our preparations were also disrupted by Covid, with 3 players unable to play on the day and several others missing rehearsals in the run up to the contest (all are well now).
It was great to return to the scene of our National Finals success in 2011, but unfortunately our performance of 'The Aeronauts' by Goff Richards did not find favour with the adjudicators, as we were placed last. We will try again next year!
