2017 Whit Friday Marches
We competed in the Whit Friday Marches in Saddleworth, near Manchester, for the third year running. This year the weather was fantastic and we had a smooth route round the villages, managing 7 contests in all. We had a great time, and even won some money as we were awarded £75 for the second placed 2nd section band in Denshaw!
Well done to training band members Lisa, Tim, Lauren and Mel who joined us for the marching, and thank you to our guests Ellyn, Alfie, John, Lois, Fred, Bill for supporting us.
